Friends Logo Font You Can Never Have Enough Of
Perhaps one of the most well celebrated TV series of the 90s is Friends, starring: Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry.
The story follows a group of friends in their 20s/30s and their struggles trying to live and settle down in Manhattan, New York City. The group always meets at a cafe called Central Perk. It’s very first episode aired on September 22, 1994, and it ran for 10 seasons, until May 6, 2004.
The actual font used for the logo/intro of the show is called Gabriel Weiss’ Friends by, of course, Gabriel Weiss. It’s free for personal use.
The colorful dots in between were added based on the design by Deborah Naysee. It’s actually not included in the font itself. The dots don’t imply any meaning at all; the producers just thought it would make the final logo of the series appear friendlier and casual to the viewers.
For a similar effect, Font Meme has a pretty cool generator that would turn your short titles or headlines into a PNG file ready for download.
