Bad Bunny Logo and Font Information
Benito Ocasio came up with a logo named after his stage name. The logo has played an instrumental role in enhancing the rapper’s appeal in and outside the music industry.
As the name implies, the Bad Bunny logo features a bunny head clad in neutral colors and printed in a bold wordmark. The rapper likely settled on a rabbit head as a symbol of fortune, comfort, and intelligence.
The rabbit head is distinguishable by its prominent ears and a crescent nose, as well as eyes designed in the shape of the plus sign.
A crescent or semi-circle nose was mainly incorporated as a mark of visual creativity. It also symbolizes the soul and mind of man, which is often described as half-perfect and half-divine. Common traits associated with a crescent shape include power, fertility, and dynamism.
The plus sign appearing on the eyes is another mark of excellent design work. However, it also resonates with addition and positive vibes.
The choice of Bad Bunny’s overall logo graphics was reportedly inspired by Ocasio’s childhood. At first glance, the logo looks like any regular bunny head. But a closer look reveals a stunningly sleek design whose uniqueness is only comparable to that of Benito Ocasio’s rap style.
The Bad Bunny logo rose to the limelight in 2016, the same year that the rapper gained widespread recognition. The logo hasn’t changed since then.
However, it has done an excellent job at popularizing Ocasio’s brand and music style over the years.
Besides the color and shapes used on the Bad Bunny logo, another interesting element is the font. The Bad Bunny logo is designed in a font known as the Againts font.
Againts is the work of font creator Ramandhani Nugraha. The font was designed in 2014 for Fortunes.
Againts font is famous for its sheer boldness and characteristic sharpness in the lettering, making it appear like it was written quickly using a spray can on a wall. The hand-drawn font looks a bit grunge and was likely inspired by street art.
