Supreme Font That Rises Above All Others
Supreme is an American skateboarding shop and clothing brand founded by James Jebbia in 1994. Aside from their own clothing label, the stores sold other skateboard brands such as Vans, Nike SB, Spitfire and, Thrasher, to name a few.
Their stores were designed with skaters in mind: clothes and other merchandise were placed to form a perimeter, while a large central space allows boarders to skate into the store while they shop. But the allure comes from exclusivity. Products sell out fast – so if you want one, you better look for a reseller.
Supreme has a diverse history of collaborations with various brands. In 2017 for instance, they collaborated with luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton. They’re a favorite among celebrities too, such as Kate Moss, Jaden Smith, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Victoria Beckham.
The famous name inside the red rectangle is Futura Bold Italic. It’s simple, readable, and like the brand itself, timeless. For a different take on it, try this Supreme font by Samuel Park.
