Ever wondered what the modern world would be like if ancient creatures such as dinosaurs still roamed the earth?
That’s the premise for Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel, Jurassic Park. Even before the book was published, there were already people who became interested for a film adaptation. In the end, a movie of the same name was released, directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Crichton himself and David Koepp.
The story is about wealthy businessman John Hammond who, together with his team of scientists, were able to clone dinosaurs and build a wildlife park for them. But as with everything else that should have been left alone, things go wrong very soon.
The success of the franchise led to subsequent films: The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park III (2001), Jurassic World (2015), and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). As they say, it is after all, an adventure 65 million years in the making.
