Finding Nemo Font and Fun Facts About the Movie’s Logo

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated adventure film co-directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich. Stanton also served as the movie’s screenwriter, alongside Bob Peterson and David Reynolds.

The movie was produced by Pixar Animation Studies and subsequently released by Walt Disney Pictures. It stars an ensemble of voice actors, including Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, and Wilhelm Dafoe.

About Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo follows an overprotective clown fish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) and his son Nemo (Alexander Gould), who has a foreshortened fin. As Marlin and Nemo go on an adventure in the Great Barrier Reef, the overexcited Nemo swims too close to the surface and is captured by a diver.

Horrified about his son’s whereabouts, Marlin must set out on a daring mission to find and rescue Nemo. He teams up with a regal blue tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), who happens to have an annoyingly short memory.

The duo navigates the treacherous ocean waters in their rescue mission, often encountering sharks, jellyfish, and a host of other dreaded ocean dwellers. Meanwhile, Nemo also attempts to escape from his captors.

Finding Nemo Font

It’s almost impossible to find a fan of classic animated films who hasn’t watched Finding Nemo. It’s equally difficult to find a Finding Nemo fan who hasn’t fallen in love with the movie’s logo.

Findet Nemo

The Finding Nemo logo is easily identifiable by the bold, white lettering of the movie’s title, which appears in ALL-CAPS. The logo is printed on a bluish background that’s complete with quirky images of swimming sea creatures. The letter “O” in the word ‘Nemo’ is hollowed out by a fish silhouette, perhaps as an indication of the specific sea creature the movie is all about.

Another defining feature of the Finding Nemo logo is the wave-like underline. On the top right are Walt Disney and Pixar logos, highlighting the successful collaboration between these entertainment powerhouses.

But perhaps the most striking thing about the Finding Nemo logo is the font the poster appears in. The font is known as Findet Nemo. This font was created by Jens R. Ziehn for Film Himmel.

Findet Nemo is generally available only in the Regular version. However, the font comes in both lowercase and UPPERCASE. And depending on where you download it from, there may also be additional effects.
